Grocery and Liquor Store Locations

When crossing the border in Baudette, MN- across the street from Willie the Walleye and the Holiday gas station, there is a grocery store called, Lake of the Woods Foods. We recommend shopping here for all your groceries. Please remember there are no grocery stores close to Red Wing. We will try to accommodate you with any forgotten items. Currently there are no restrictions on groceries (potatoes must be commercially bagged and not from your garden).

Please remember there is no liquor store available after you leave Rainy River, ON. There is a duty free liquor store, on the left side, just before the U.S. customs border crossing point. After you clear Canada Customs, there is a LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) liquor store on your right side as you approach the town of Rainy River, Ont. (est. 3/4 mile) from Canada Customs.

Crossing The Border

When crossing the border in International Falls, MN. There is a duty free liquor store just before the U.S. Customs. After clearing Canada Customs, drive west on ONT. Hwy 11 and when in the town of Emo, ONT.( Est. 21 miles) there is a LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) liquor store on your right side. There is a grocery store, Clover Leaf, one block west of the liquor store on your right side, also. We recommend this grocery store for any last minute items you may need. Their meat department is outstanding. Remember there is no grocery store or liquor store available after this point.

*When crossing the border to Canada, you are allowed one case of beer per adult or 40 oz. of liquor (1.14 liter). You are allowed one carton of cigarettes per adult.
